Kindle 3 business is expanding fast, also Kindle 3 is cheap. Amazon told to the news reporter that their strategy is secret but they have planned to challenge with Apple, which is popular band recently. There are many rumors about Kindle 3, so people are interesting on it.
Amazon uses curious of people to increase their selling rate and it worked because Amazon gained a lot of money for selling Kindle 3.
